Towards What Hurt is a debut collection of poetry by adria moses — writer, somatic practitioner, and founder of the School of Radical Healing.
These poems were written across years of survival: illness, grief, love, memory, and the slow, non-linear work of coming home to the body. They move through three chambers — a portal, a wildfire, and a return — and ask the reader to do the same.
This is not a book about arriving. It is a book about the courage it takes to move toward what hurt and find yourself there: whole, waiting.

To preorder is to move toward it before it arrives. Every preorder includes:
- a signed copy
- the audio: adria reading poems aloud, yours before the book is out
- a small print of the cover painting
Standard edition — the book, and all three.
Collector's edition (only 8) — everything above, plus one of eight original paintings from the series that led to the cover. Not the cover itself, and not a reproduction: a one-of-a-kind work from the process that made it, marked on the back by its own making. When they're gone, they're gone.
